Binghamton is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Binghamton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Some time ago. I wrote a review complaining about mechanical issues with the pool and hot tub. The last several months all has been great. Pool has been very well maintained. Hot tub and sauna have also all been good.

Service by Katherine was very rude on multiple occasions. Hotel guests should be respected by all staff

Good clean facility. I go for swimming and the pool is top notch. Just be aware of creepy old men walking around the men's locker room naked and even sitting on the benches naked with no towel

Front desk staff are lovely and members are wonderful. You need to understand that this gym is controlled by the DoubleTree Hotel and they are not concerned about the Riverwalk gym members. Hotel guests break rules (and equipment) when they visit and the staff are too afraid of the hotel to enforce rules. It’s hard to imagine the hotel is that concerned for their guests who are often met with a cold pool or a hot tub that is down. Like a lot of Riverwalk’s gym members, I have an injury that prevents me from a lot of landbased activity and was drawn to the Riverwalk gym for its warm saltwater pool. It’s the reason I can walk. After being a member for just over a month, the heater broke in the pool. The 84 degree water they boast plummeted to 74 and I continued to show up anyway. If I hadn’t, I would have reverted back to being immobile and unable to work. For about a month, I waited while the (Double Tree Hilton) kept the pool mechanic on other jobs and refused to expedite the shipment of parts to repair the issue. During that time, one of the two normal working shower stalls became out of commission in the ladies lockeroom. All female gym members were sharing one shower stall. Th

My kids and I used the pool here for workouts while visiting family. It's a salt water pool that's well maintained, with a built in hot tub feature. There's two dedicated lap lanes for workouts, and you can call the day before to reserve a block of time in one of the lanes, which is very convenient. The only caveat is the lanes are narrow, so don't plan on circle swimming. The staff were friendly and accommodating -- I find other clubs in this area either didn't offer short term memberships, or wouldn't allow my kids to train based solely on age (both are year round club swimmers). Can't speak to the gym proper, but if it mirrors the pool I'd recommend this place. Will use again the next time I'm in town!
